Avengers: Infinity War’s Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston revealed all they could about the movie in a live interview — all while helping Tom Holland to stay tight-lipped.

While Avengers: Infinity War press season is great for us fans, it might be the scariest time of them all for Tom Holland.

On Monday, he, Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston appeared live on TV for a remote interview with Good Morning America.

From the very beginning of the interview, Cumberbatch and Hiddleston took the lead in handing out answers to the GMA anchors. But you could see Holland was visibly staying put, trying his hardest not to say a word.

That’s because Holland’s a bit notorious at this point about revealing spoilers about his Marvel movies, or at least coming very close.

Take for example this GMA video from 2017 that’s literally titled “Benedict Cumberbatch Stops Tom Holland From Revealing Any Big Avengers Infinity War Secrets.” Or that one time when Holland even joked about directors Joe and Anthony Russo wanting him specifically to not spoil the movie.

Cumberbatch said that he’s the only one who’s read the whole script mainly because of how vital he is to the plot — just think about that valuable Infinity Stone that he has. Then, GMA anchor Amy Robach followed up to ask Holland if it’s true that producers went to “extreme lengths” to prevent him from knowing too much about the movie.

Holland responded, “Yeah.. . . I’m very stressed right now because this is live. So I’m really just trying to sit on it and let these guys do all the talking,” he says in the video, pointing to his two castmates.

“This is your first and last live interview,” David Muir joked after.

But Holland didn’t stay quiet for long. When asked if Hiddleston (the “old TH”) had any advice to give to the “new TH,” he had nothing but praise for Spider-Man actor.

“Look at him, he needs no advice from me,” Hiddleston said. “And I wouldn’t have the first clue how to play Spider-Man.”

But to be fair, the two revealed that the only just met the night before at the London mini-premiere of Infinity War. There, fans got to see approximately 20 minutes of the new movie, but that was it.

When asked who had the toughest stunts out of Doctor Strange, Spider-Man and Loki, it was unanimous it had to be Spider-Man.

“I remember in the first Spider-Man, if we ever filmed something while we were upside down, we would just stick my hair up and turn it right-way-up,” Holland said. “Because if you go upside down, the veins pop out of your head and stuff. The Russo Brothers didn’t know that trick.”

So apparently if you look hard enough, you might just see a scene in Infinity War where Spider-Man really looks like he’s struggling and about to explode.

At the end, the three revealed who their favorite MCU characters are. For Cumberbatch, he had nothing but love for Groot. Holland adored Ned, Peter Parker’s “man behind the computer.” And Hiddleston had to give a shout out to Jeff Goldblum, who played the hilarious Grandmaster in Thor: Ragnarok.

We’d rate this interview a solid 9 out of 10 for Holland.  He was live on air and had no slip-ups.

With trusty Doctor Strange and Loki by his side, he managed to give us a lot of good info while not revealing anything too sensitive. That’s one interview down, probably lots more to go.
