Universal Standard

Universal Standard is a fashion line for people sizes 10-28. Often “plus-size” clothing is bigger versions of clothing meant for smaller people, creating unflattering silhouettes. The creators of Universal Standard realized that a lot of women were settling for what seemed good enough because there wasn’t anything else made for them. They decided to change that by creating styles that are made for larger women and flatter their beautiful bodies rather than hide them.

Universal Standard also has one of the most progressive exchange programs I’ve seen. They call it Fit Liberty. They understand that our weight fluctuates and that the pressures around our size can be stressful. Therefore, their policy is that if an item no longer fits anytime within a year of purchase, they will replace it with a new size for free. This policy is so generous and forward thinking, it’s unbelievable!

Favorites for Spring ’18

Enza Jumpsuit: This jumpsuit is a perfect and comfortable outfit for the workplace. It’s both elegant and casual, with a v-neck t-shirt top and wide pant legs. Jumpsuits are a necessity for any closet as they’re ideal for those days that you feel lazy but still have to be presentable.

All Star Full Length Leggings: Universal Standard has outdone themselves with their activewear collection. These full-length leggings are high cut so they can be paired with a basic sports bra or a half-tucked t-shirt.
