We love Harley Quinn and specifically Margot Robbie’s take on the character. But as we wait for a solo Quinn film, we can bask in Robbie’s performance in Terminal.
Margot Robbie has been taking over our hearts ever since her appearance in The Wolf of Wall Street. So it isn’t really a surprise that we loved her as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. In a movie that was, arguably, not that great, Margot stood out and made it worthwhile to watch.
So as we anxiously wait for Harley’s alleged solo film, we have Margot in the movie Terminal to tie us over. Following the assassin named Annie, this futuristic town comes complete with a Simon Pegg, Mike Myers, and Max Irons.
But it is yet again Margot who shines. The trailer shows Annie in action and gives us very little details to what this movie is really about. But does that matter? Margot looks both terrifying and desirable and the movie looks eclectically breathtaking. That’s all you really need to get my attention.
As you can see, this is quite the world to live in. The film not only stars Margot but has quite the list of geeky faves to back it up. With Simon Pegg (of Star Trek fame) and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom himself), fans are in for quite the treat.
This is another vehicle produced by Margot’s production company LuckyChap, the other being I, Tonya which gained Margot an Oscar nomination. If this film is anything like I, Tonya, we know it will capture our hearts. LuckyChap is doing a great job of giving us interesting women to look to in movies and we have Margot Robbie to thank for that.
You can catch Margot as Tonya Harding in I, Tonya, out on DVD now. Terminal comes out May 11.
