International Women’s Day is dedicated to celebrating the achievements and progress of women culturally, politically, socially and economically. It is meant to encourage appreciation of advocacy and action that has been taken for and by women. The holiday has been observed since the early 20th century and calls for the advancement of gender parity.

The BizChix Podcast
