When two Shondaland shows come together on a cross over show, the fireworks should be huge. This week’s episode of Scandal season 7 has Olivia Pope team up with Annalise Keating. Can Olivia finally put the white hat back on?
Putting these two powerful women together seems like a great episode. Olivia has been so far on the dark side, this type of cause should get her some good karma points. The only question is whether these two powerful women will be allies or will just butt heads?
While many of these episodes blur the lines between reality and fiction, this storyline is a walks a little in the reality realm. The likelihood of a case getting fast-tracked to the Supreme Court is extremely slim. Even Olivia’s power would have difficulty in getting this scenario to become reality.
According to ABC, this week’s episode, “Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself” features the following:
"Olivia gets and unexpected visit from criminal defense attorney Annalise Keating, who seeks her help in fast-tracking a judicial reform class action to the United State Supreme Court."
The cross over episode is a great idea. Truthfully, I wish that a different topic or cause brought the two Shondaland ladies together. This episode could have the former lawyer in me screaming at the television because of the technical errors. Hopefully, the episode is less legal technicalities and more drama.
