Fans were excited for Kesha to finally hit the road, but it looks like some of them may have to wait a bit longer.

After taking a tumble at a concert in Dubai on Feb. 9, Kesha will have to postpone some of her upcoming international tour dates, according to a statement released by the Grammy-nominated singer. The fall resulted in a torn ACL in her knee that requires immediate surgery (as in, she’s having the surgery today). She made the announcement in an Instagram post earlier today (Feb. 20).

The 11 postponed dates, per Variety, were set to begin March 25 in Brendale, Australia and end April 20 in Osaka, Japan, with other dates in New Zealand and Taiwan. The shows will now be rescheduled at later dates. Ticket-holders are being told to hold onto tickets until more information is available.

“It’s my biggest joy in life to share my music with my fans all over the world, but I have to follow my doctors orders and undergo surgery to repair my torn ACL so I can get ready to give it all on my Summer tour and beyond,” Kesha wrote.

She will undergo surgery for her knee before going into rehabilitation as soon as possible so she will be healthy and ready to co-headline her North American summer tour, The Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore. The duo are expected to begin their 30-date tour on June 6 in Phoenix, AZ, and tickets are already on sale for that tour as well.

It hasn’t been an easy few years for Kesha. After a lengthy legal battle with producer Dr. Luke that contractually barred her from releasing her own music, the singer released the critically acclaimed album Rainbow in 2017. The album earned her a Best Pop Vocal Album nomination at the 2018 Grammy Awards, and a Best Pop Solo Performance for the heartfelt lead single, “Praying.”
