Will this be the villain of Wonder Woman 2?

Working titles are usually to keep a film hidden, but did the Wonder Woman 2 working title just give away the villain for the next film?

With Wonder Woman 2 having the working title of “Magic Hour”, fans are beginning to speculate who the villain could be. The main consensus? Circe. According to CBR, the film is in pre-production and many think that maybe Eva Green could be taking on the role.

Personally, I’d be into that. Eva Green (famous for her work in Casino Royale and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children) is one of the best actresses we have. And she reminds me a bit of Circe as is so why not have her play the part?

The problem with the sequel thus far is that they’re stating that Jenkins is going to take it in a more DCEU-like way. To which I respond, please don’t. From Batman v. Superman to Justice League, it isn’t a great path to go down.

The only movie that gave us fans of the DCEU hope was Wonder Woman and now to try and “connect” the franchise together, they want Patty to change up her style? Why forget what’s working to make it something that no one likes? It doesn’t make much sense but then again, neither does the DC Extended Universe.

We’ll have to see if we get Circe in the next movie or if it’ll be another disappointment from the DCEU. What’s good though is that Patty Jenkins is directing, and if I trust anyone with a DCEU movie, it is her. The men? Not so much.
