15 times we actively rooted against love

Maggie and Jackson — Grey’s Anatomy
I kind of hate to pooh-pooh this couple, since they are, quite literally, two of the most attractive people in the world. Bad mouthing a Maggie/Jackson pair up feels what I imagine kicking a puppy might feel like. I feel like should be rooting for them, for sure, but I just can’t get on board.
Maggie needs someone a little more serious than Jackson. After divorcing April, Jackson needs some down time to have a little fun and have a few casual relationships. Maggie is just not that kind. If they get together, Jackson will inevitably hurt her tender little feelings, and Maggie might not be able to sit across from him at the Thanksgiving dinner table.
Because, let’s not forget: they are (sort of) related. Although their kinship isn’t by blood and wouldn’t necessarily be breaking any laws or social contracts, it’s a little too close for comfort, if you ask me. The very last thing anybody wants is to break up with someone and then have to pull their name in the family Secret Santa. That’s just too brutal.
Aside from all the potential emotional and familial fallout for them personally, April would have to come face to face with this relationship. She’s already going through something that has yet to fully manifest itself, and this could really just send her off the edge.
Don’t we all just think Maggie and Jackson would be the cutest as friends? They’d be so good at it, and (I imagine) they’d be really bad at sleeping with each other.
