Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD season 5 episode 10 preview: Past Life
In its last episode before a mini hiatus in February, Agents of SHIELD looks to put its characters into even crazier danger than before!
It’s a little upsetting that Agents of SHIELD is going on a mini hiatus for the month of February. We had to struggle through Marvel’s Inhumans before we got to this crazy space season. Then again, we’ve had 10 episodes in 11 weeks; that’s pretty consistent.
And can you blame ABC for not wanting to compete with the Olympics?
So we’ll have a one-month break between this episode and Agents of SHIELD’s next episode. Which means we’ll have to wait even longer for the 100th episode, which promises to be a game-changer.
The last time they promised that, Grant Ward turned out to be Hydra.
Here is your official synopsis for this week’s episode, courtesy of ABC:
"S.H.I.E.L.D. has one final chance to return to our timeline, but their actions may have deadly consequences"
Not sure what else can go wrong at this point. We have to wonder what Kasius still has up his sleeve. How he knew Elena’s name felt like a crazy coincidence (or is he a “believer” in the prophecy and that’s how he knew it? I don’t remember).
My crazy bet for his arsenal is an Inhuman LMD version of Grant Ward, because why the heck not? If Deke played for Kasius for a while, Kasius knows about his Framework. And there is a version of Grant Ward in there that could be used.
Plus Kasius enjoys his experiments with people, and all that Kree technology seems to do wonders to those who are dead.
I’m just saying … it would be kind of ridiculous and awesome. But who knows what Kasius has planned for our SHIELD compatriots?
