3 things we want to see happen in Mission Impossible 6: Fallout

More stunt follies
I kind of feel bad about this one since Tom Cruise actually hurt himself on the set of Mission Impossible last year, but this is also really important to me.
Since the franchise is called Mission Impossible, we expect impossible things to happen. The good guys always win, no matter the cost or how crazy the situation becomes. For the most part, Mission Impossible remains light on its feet and continues to give the audience some really great stunts. In Rogue Nation, we got Tom Cruise on the side of a plane and Tom Cruise in a BMW flipping a million times in the streets of Morocco.
It’s cool stuff to watch, but the moments I never forget come when Tom Cruise messes up. Well, Tom Cruise lets Ethan mess up. Sometimes, he does run out of breath. Sometimes, he miscalculates his jump and bangs his head. He becomes more relatable when things go wrong, which, in real life, they almost always do.
In Mission Impossible 6, we can expect another mind-blowing stunt, but I also hope that when Tom Cruise raises the stakes, he doesn’t forget that this all raises the probability of death.
Or at the very least, a concussion.
