The Sebastian Stan-Mark Hamill theory has a new backer

The Internet has a theory that Sebastian Stan is the son of Mark Hamill and now even the Hamill children are seeing the comparison. Or at least Chelsea Hamill is.

Mark Hamill already has some sons and Sebastian Stan already has a father. But that hasn’t stopped the fan theories that Hamill is Stan’s dad. In fact, someone went far enough to change their relationship on their Wikipedia pages.

And now, it seems, that Chelsea Hamill is jumping on the bandwagon. During her viewing of I, Tonya, it seems as if Chelsea finally understood what everyone is saying — and posted it to her Snapchat, which inevitably made its way to Tumblr. (And to be quite honest, once you see it, you can’t really unsee it. Even if you try. And believe me, I tried. It made rewatching The Empire Strikes Back really weird.)

But it just sparks the want for Sebastian Stan to play a younger Luke Skywalker. Ever since this theory has surfaced, many fans want a movie that spans between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, maybe while Luke is building the Jedi temple.

And now that Chelsea has seen this father and son duo like the rest of us, it would be a pretty incredible thing to see. Even so, it is just fun that she A) chose to use I, Tonya as her reference point and B) is just now seeing it as well.

So will we ever get Sebastian Stan as Luke Skywalker? Maybe not, but it would be fun if we got a movie where Mark and Sebastian are an estranged father and son pairing who are forced on a road trip together. Or maybe that’s just what I want. But still, pretty great right?
