Golden Globes predictions: What is going to win in the television categories

Best Actress

This is Nicole Kidman’s category to win. For Best Actress in a mini series or motion picture made for television, there is no competition. Yes, all the other women did incredible jobs (especially Nicole’s Big Little Lies costar Reese Witherspoon) but this is Nicole’s award.

She is absolutely incredible in the show and she’s already taken home the Emmy so there isn’t really anything to worry about here.

Is it wishful thinking to want Issa Rae to win for her work in Insecure? Maybe. It is the Golden Globes, but that is who should take home the award tonight. Another win that would be out of left field but not undeserved would be Alison Brie taking home the Globe for her work in the Netflix original series GLOW.

Playing Queen Elizabeth II, Claire Foy has continued to make us fall in love with her. She is incredible on The Crown and has proven time and time again just how amazing she is. The only possible upset is that Elisabeth Moss could maybe take it instead for her work in The Handmaid’s Tale.

While these all could be completely different, I think these ladies had some of the best work this season and hope they take home the Golden Globes!
