The Great American Baking Show season 3 premiere live stream: Watch online

The Great American Baking Show is back yet again, just with a different British judge and different American hosts! Here’s how to watch online.

Although The Great British Baking Show has undergone even more changes, The Great Ameriacn Baking Show will not be left behind. It’s swapped out its old hosts for Anthony Adams and Ayesha Curry, put in Paul Hollywood rather than Mary Berry … and kept Johnny Iuzzini.

This is coming from a place of baking love and deep appreciation, but the conflicts between those two judge, their egos and their baking sensibilities will be glorious. This season is probably worth watching for that alone, let alone whatever ridiculous bakes the contestants will come up with to impress the two of them. And make no mistake — they will need to come up with some good recipes, because Iuzzini was always the harder of the two judges on American Baking, and ditto with Hollywood on British Baking. Or, at least, they were always the more brutally honest of them.

Anyway, according to ABC, the most major change when it comes to this season as opposed to the first two is that there are only three episodes, consisting of six rounds in total. (In other words, each episode will be two hours long. More baking time for everyone!) This does mean that the entire competition will air before Christmas, which is probably the most appropriate time to air it, all things considered.

This week’s pair of challenges revolve around the classic cake, before getting into the oddly specific “morning treats” for the second half. Then again, since this is a holiday-themed show … breakfast pastries is practically a given when it comes to themes.
