Mr. Robot season 3 continues this Wednesday with a brand new episode. Here’s all the info you need to watch “eps3.6_Fredrick+Tanya.chk” online.
Surprise, Mr. Robot is new this week! You may not have realized that the show airs on Wednesdays, and this week that means the night before Thanksgiving, but it’s true.
Hope you’re at least prepared to set the DVRs if you have family obligations, because it sounds like this episode is going to be another game changer.
Probably not in the same sense as last week’s installment though, which saw Whiterose launch Stage 2 at long last. However, thanks to Elliot’s success at thwarting their attempts to bring all the E-Corp paper documentation to a single location, the Dark Army blew up the 71 other buildings that contained them instead.
Where does Mr. Robot go now that Elliot’s revolution is terrorism, and thousands of people are dead? If Tyrell is now in FBI custody, what happens next? Should we all start believing in Angela’s bizarre theory that everyone can somehow be resurrected through the power of time travel?
The official episode synopsis is, as usual, no help. Though it does kind of hint that time travel thing might not be too far off.
"Mr. Robot wants answers; the FBI closes in; and Angela hits rewind."
The episode’s title also holds another potential hint. Fans may recall that “Frederick” and “Tanya” are the names that original fsociety members Mobley and Trenton assumed when they fled New York. When last we saw them, Leon — Elliot’s former prison friend and covert Dark Army assassin — asked them both for the time. We haven’t seen them since.
This week, it seems like we might actually find out what happened to them. But how does that play into the larger story? Remember, in the season 2 finale, Trenton floated the idea of whether the fsociety could somehow undo what they did.
