Justice League’s top 7 hilarious and heartfelt moments

The after credits scene
Justice League’s opening shot is a phone-camera video of Superman taken by a couple kids asking him interview questions. I’m guessing this scene was meant to show how Superman was a charming man of the people before his tragic demise, but in reality it just made him look like a stilted weirdo who hates children. Which was hilarious in its own right, but that’s beside the point.
Comparatively, The Flash is probably the funniest character in any DCEU movie to date. Putting them in a scene together is automatic gold, and lets us see Clark’s more laid back and playful side. I got a good laugh at his suggestion that the penalty for losing the race should be that Barry gets kicked off the team.
There have been many instances in the comics where Superman and the Flash race, so getting that moment in there was a nice homage. As to who wins, we don’t get to find out; but honestly, I hope Barry won. The mental image of him rubbing it in Superman’s face in front of the entire League for months to come is too beautiful to lose. He’d probably post flyers about it. Maybe make team t-shirts commemorating his victory.
Clark would totally wear one.

All in all, Justice League was like seeing that weird kid from high school again for the first time in a decade; maybe they’re still pretty weird, but they’re finally owning it. Own it, DC.
