Poldark season 3 episode 7 live stream: Watch online
Pretty much everyone is in for a rough week on Poldark this week if the synopsis is to be believed, so it’s probably best to tune in.
Since next week’s episode brings the Poldark season 3 finale, it’s only natural that things would get absolutely terrible in the penultimate episode. That way, the show can end on only a moderately positive note and still look better than what happened in the previous episode. The showrunners managed to pull something off last season, although most of the terrible things happened in the third-to-last episode.
Anyway, here we are, almost ready to go back on hiatus with a British period drama, and the synopsis indicates we are going to have a lot of questions after the end of this week’s episode, only some of which may be answered in next week’s episode.
Here’s the PBS pressroom’s official take on things:
"Morwenna gives birth and plunges into despair. George triumphs, as the ground collapses under his relationship with Elizabeth. Ross and Demelza bare their souls."
There we go. That’s the good stuff. Okay, let’s start with Elizabeth and George. The fallout from George finally learning that Valentine probably isn’t his will be massive, and to counterbalance it with George finally succeeding in his goals to further himself in society, which is our guess for why the synopsis uses “triumphs”? Dear readers, the irony is delightful, and we haven’t even seen the episode yet. What if he finds out about her tonics? Between the two, George might come to the realization that not even his wife likes life with him very much, since she’s kept two huge secrets from him.
Meanwhile, bringing up the rear are Demelza and Ross. The photos for this week’s episode, viewable at the above PBS link, pointedly do not show them together, so although you might initially read “to each other” implicitly in the wording chosen, that might not be the case.
