Last week, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend gave us the scariest Rebecca of our lives. But will she return to her mother in New York or stay in West Covina?
What is happening to Rebecca Bunch on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend? Last week, we saw her go full Glenn Close on Josh Chan (and if you need a full refresher, my recap is right this way). So much so that, for the first time, I actually felt bad for the guy. Rebecca is obviously going through some stuff.
Look, I get it. Rebecca Bunch has had quite the life. From men abandoning her to struggling with her mother, she has every right to have a breakdown of that magnitude. But as Josh Groban pointed out in last week’s episode, life isn’t like a movie.
The episode ended with everyone still worrying about Rebecca and Rebecca agreeing to move home with her mother. Which, we know, her mother may not be the best person for Rebecca right now. But really, who is?
Even after three seasons, we don’t know the entirety of Rebecca’s past, and maybe she should go back to a therapist (at least) to get herself sorted out. She needs something to help her right now, but we don’t know what that’s going to be.
Maybe we’ll have some more answers this week but until then, we’ll just have to hope that something keeps Rebecca in West Covina with all her friends.
