Mr. Robot season 3 continues this week with an episode that promises to be something of a game changer. At least, if the initial promos are to be believed.

Whatever happens in “eps3.4_runtime-error.r00” is apparently so important that we need to see it as quickly as possible. The episode will be presented without interruption on Wednesday night. (Yes, that means no commercials. At all.)

However, whatever big thing is going down? It’s a mystery to all of us. Sure, there are plenty of things that could happen. This season of Mr. Robot has a lot of secrets, after all. But while there’s plenty of things happening — or that might — it’s hard to guess precisely what the big deal about this episode will be.

(And it’s something. The trailers are calling this episode “groundbreaking”. We’re definitely all supposed to be talking about this on Thursday morning.)

Well, other than the fact that it looks like some kind of riot might be going on at E-Corp. But, why?

Is this Stage 2? Could it be some other part of Whiterose’s ultimate plan? Or is it something else entirely?
