Is Empire new this Wednesday, Oct. 25 on Fox?

Unfortunately, there aren’t any new episodes of Empire for two weeks while we wait out the World Series, but good things come to those who wait, right?

Because baseball season just has to end now, there is a two-week pause in new Empire episodes.

Grrr.

I waited last year because the Chicago Cubs managed to win it all, and I’ve got some connections to fans. This year, however, it’s the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. the Houston Astros, so I don’t really have a dog in this fight. Suffice it to say, I’m much more antsy for the return of Empire than last year’s baseball championship. 

So far, the only new content on YouTube is an extended music video of Jamal and Warren singing and recording Jamal’s new song “Looking For You,” and you can check it out below:

The next episode will also deal with Hakeem trying to retain custody of Bella. I mean, now that he’s finally learned how to properly hold a baby, it’d be a shame for him to not get to show off his new skill, right?

Here’s the preview of “The Fool,” which will be the next episode on Nov. 8.

Also in this preview, we can see that Lucious is beginning to remember Nurse Claudia. Judging by the look on his face and the sound of his voice, the memories aren’t pleasant either.

Diana’s exposé on the Lyons appears to finally run during this episode as well. I can’t wait to see what juicy secrets are in the magazine.

Meanwhile, Andre’s still canoodling with Officer Rose, and Angelo finally gets punched in the face.
