Will one of the twins finally leave the runway on Project Runway episode 8? Just how much drama will be on this week’s Project Runway?
Last week, Project Runway ended on a big cliffhanger. The twins, Claire and Shawn, had to battle it out in a one-hour design showdown. They couldn’t work together or help each other. While the tears and tantrums will surely happen, Project Runway season 16 should get less dramatic after their departure.
My guess is that Shawn will be eliminated. She doesn’t have the technical ability. Then again, Claire has had some pretty bad designs herself. Too bad it isn’t a double elimination.
This showdown challenge isn’t the only topic for Project Runway episode 8, though. Let’s see what this week’s preview tells us.
Based on this short clip, the real world might be just too much for these designers to handle. Although the preview doesn’t reveal the designer who walks off, earlier in the season that information was revealed. Michael storms off. With one of the twins leaving, I would have thought the drama would have lessened, not increased. Wonder what got Michael so upset?

The real-world challenges always seem to baffle the designers. Creating an outfit for friends and family of the Project Runway crew sounds like a fun episode. But nothing is simple on this show. Plus, with a monetary prize for the challenge winner, everyone should be trying their hardest to win.
If I was a betting on a winner/loser combination, I would say that Amy will be on the bottom. While she has technical ability, her designs aren’t fashionable, creative or even just pretty. Brandon, while a judges’ favorite, could also struggle in this challenge. Not too many people can wear his designs.
As for top choices, I’m pulling for Margarita. Her shirt dress was stunning. I hope her top look trend continues. Also, Kenya could be a smart choice. But, who knows. This season of Project Runway hasn’t had a lot of twists yet.
