The Mean Girls cast joined together for a worthy cause and it was really fetch
Sometimes, you just love a movie so much that you quote it non-stop. That’s us with Mean Girls and the cast decided to do something special this year.
The cast of Mean Girls think it would be really fetch if you donated $3 to help support the victims of the Las Vegas shooting. Today, for Mean Girls Day, the cast decided to reunite for a worthy cause. Gretchen Weiners, Karen, Aaron, and Damian all met and created a GoFundMe page for the victims.
Their goal? Only $300,000. The objective was to get fans of the movie to donate $3 each in honor of Oct. 3. So while the video was sweet and gave us a glimpse of our favorite characters once more, it was more inspiring to see them banding together for this wonderful cause!
Today is Mean Girls Day and while the musical is gearing up their advertising for the occasion, it is nice to see the original characters doing something like this to help those out hurt by the shooting on Sunday.
It was a terrible thing to happen in our country, and every little bit of the donations help those who may have lost a loved one during the tragedy. You can go to the GoFundMe page and donate (more than $3 if you’re willing) to help those who truly need it.
It is just a wonderful thing for the cast to do! While we didn’t get a Regina or a Cady cameo from Rachel McAdams or Lindsay Lohan, it is still sweet of the cast to use today for the good of those who were affected by the event. So go out there, wear your pink (because even though it is only Tuesday, we should still wear pink. It is Breast Cancer Awareness Month after all) and donate what you can to this amazing cause!
