20. National Kindness Day

The Diana Award is encouraging people to conduct random acts of kindness on March 31, National Kindness Day. The Diana Award went a step further last year, kick-starting a campaign for kindness and conducting research to see how British parents encourage and teach kindness to their children. Diana was the “People’s Princess” for a reason. She used her royal position to improve the lives of others.

Diana explained how she felt an “affinity” with those who were suffering during her interview with Martin Bashir. She also spoke about how capable she was of spreading love and kindness worldwide.

“I know that I can give love for a minute, for half an hour, for a day, for a month—I’m very happy to do that and I want to do that,” she said.
