14. Buckingham Palace Remembers Her

Diana’s brother, Lord Charles Spencer, discussed in a recent ABC interview the impact Diana had on so many people she’d never met. “Obviously, 99.9 percent of the people had never seen her, or met her, but their felt something in her that was fascinating and intriguing, and a force for good,” he shared.

Buckingham Palace wanted to share in that good, and unveiled a tribute to the beloved princess. The palace recreated her office with a desk she used to go over briefings and write letters. Her sons picked out family pictures and cassettes to go on the desk. People from far and wide can now visit this London State Room to learn more about Diana.
