Patty Jenkins is on her way to being the highest paid female director

It is no surprise that we love Patty Jenkins. Wonder Woman changed the world and it also is giving Jenkins all the praise she deserves and more.

Everyone is suddenly saying Patty Jenkins name and for good reason! She changed the world just like Diana Prince herself. For those who don’t know, Jenkins is the woman behind the lens in regards to Wonder Woman.

She brought Diana to life before our eyes and for some of us, that is a huge deal. We grew up longing for a standalone film for our favorite hero and never got it. That is, until now. And what’s even better? Wonder Woman continues to break records, making it the highest grossing blockbuster of the summer.

But it’s really no surprise, at least it wasn’t to fans of Wonder Woman. We all knew going in that this was going to be one incredible movie. So what has been weighing on our minds since? Whether or not Patty Jenkins will be signed on to direct Wonder Woman 2, as she should. According to Deadline, Jenkins is close to signing a deal that will not only give us a second Patty DCEU film but also make her the highest paid female director.

It is a pretty big deal all around and no one deserves it more than Jenkins. From her Academy Award-winning film Monster to this, she continues to prove to us just how amazing she is. Her work speaks for itself and the love and dedication Patty Jenkins gives her to movies makes them the best there is.
