Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later is taking us back to Camp Firewood and our favorite campers but it isn’t as blissful as we’d hoped.
Episode 2 of Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later gave us what we were really missing, the whole gang! That’s right, Andy finally makes a reappearance in this episode. And it wasn’t without some great laughs.
Everyone is pretty much convinced that Andy isn’t coming and we keep seeing glimpses of a man on a motorcycle. We think it’s Andy and then everyone is chanting his name, screaming as he’s doing donuts. Only to discover that Andy is standing beside the motorcycle man eating donuts.
It’s stupid but honestly, that’s why we love Wet Hot American Summer. Andy isn’t the only return this episode. No, there is some very special presidential treatment.
That’s right, Michael Showalter as President Reagan makes a comeback but he’s not the only one! This time, we get Michael Ian Black as President Bush and honestly, it’s pretty amazing. But that’s the kind of thing they’re so good at on this show. It gives us crazy situations and makes sure that we see our favorites incorporated into the insanity.
Katie and Coop also go on a walk around the campgrounds and reignite the flame they once had. But everything is stopped with Beth announces that she is planning on selling the camp. And for everyone who came back to celebrate the ten year reunion, they weren’t too happy.
And it definitely helps set up Reagan and Bush’s plan to buy Camp Firewood and destroy it! But we’ll have to see what happens because remember, we still haven’t seen what Lindsey or Eric are up to. But lucky for us, we have plenty more reunion to go!
