For fans of Wet Hot American Summer, the lack of Bradley Cooper as Ben makes us a little sad but it’s okay, the reason he’s not there is pretty great.
Wet Hot American Summer took over our lives when the movie first came out. A group of adults playing teenagers at a summer camp? What’s not to love! From there, we loved the crazy kids at Camp Firewood and wanted more of them in our lives!
But then we went back in time for the first day of camp years later and realized that our love of these campers wasn’t gone. In fact, they added a whole new group of people and it was amazing! (Looking at you Eric in the woods.)
Now though, we’re visiting our favorites from Camp Firewood once more. This time? Well, it’s 1991. The flash forward takes us on a whole new journey. For me? I’m excited because apparently Chris Pine is in more of this season and that’s always a good way to ensure I like something.
But the sad part about Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later is that Bradley Cooper will not be reprising his role as Ben. But you know who will be taking on another character named Ben? Adam Scott.
That’s right guys, Ben and Leslie…um, I mean Suzie, are together once more! So I’m really not upset because I love Adam Scott! So while it’s sad that Bradley Cooper will not be returning, at least we get a great Adam Scott performance to make up for it!
If you haven’t watched the whole trailer, please do. It’s amazing and you get to see more of your favorites and what they look like come 1991!
