2. Sansa Stark will be pressured to let Bran Stark take charge

Admittedly, Jon leaves Sansa Stark in charge of the North while he’s gone. However, did you notice how Sansa’s first scene with her full brother ends up? They sit in the godswood, and she explicitly says that Bran Stark is “Lord of Winterfell.” Admittedly, he says that that’s not really his job (being an all-seeing mystic really cuts back on the time you have to govern), but if Sansa thinks it, who’s to say that most of her advisers won’t think it as well?

One of the last shots in the episode 4 preview has Sansa taking a deep breath and looking down at some documents on a table before her, with faceless people standing in front of her. It could be that she has some recalcitrant northern lords who won’t send their supplies to Winterfell, but her expression seems like it’s more resigned.

In the off-season, Sophie Turner talked quite a bit about the shifts in Sansa’s character, at one point mentioning that it would be “interesting to see” how things played out. Is there anything more interesting than Sansa getting a taste of power — which Turner also hinted at — and then having people try and yank it away from her again because she was born a girl instead of a boy?
