The Princess Diaries 3 might be coming sooner then we think

If you’re a kid from the early 2000s, you probably remember your love of the Princess Diaries. Well now, they’re making a third installment.

The Princess Diaries introduced us to Anne Hathaway, Chris Pine, Heather Matarazzo, and so many more. But more than that, it taught us all that we can be a princess and that we can be our own hero.

Well now, it seems as if Mia Thermopolis’s story might just continue on. According to E! Online, Meg Cabot (the author of the book series the movies are based) hinted that there might still be a story that Mia has to tell.

For those who don’t remember where we left off, let me remind you. Mia returned to Genovia to take on the throne but was told she couldn’t unless she was married. And if she didn’t get married, Nicholas Devereaux (Chris Pine) would take it from her.

Of course they fell in love and the wedding was actually between Joe and the Queen (crazy, right?). But still, the story focused on Mia’s growth and her importance as the princess of Genovia.

Now while we don’t know what the third movie will entail, I have some theories and I have had some theories for quite some time now. First, I want it to be called The Princess Diaries: And Baby Makes 3. And it is the struggle for Mia and Nicholas to have an heir to the throne.

In the end, they realize that their love is what is most important and BAM! they have a baby. Honestly, it just writes itself.

So while this may not be the premise of the movie, it still would be pretty awesome to see our favorite princess take on the world and protect Genovia once more. So hurry up and get that cast set, we want The Princess Diaries 3!
