At the big D23 Expo this weekend, Rian Johnson took the stage and unveiled some new Star Wars The Last Jedi footage, in theaters this December.

In case you didn’t know, the D23 Expo is Disney’s way of reminding everyone about the wealth of talent and content they have under their umbrella. Of course, when you think of Disney, you immediately think of animated kid stuff. But it’s also a giant business entity that owns prolific properties, like Marvel and Lucasfilm. What this means is that when Disney throws a party, Star Wars, Captain America and Moana are all dancing together. It’s truly a sight to behold.

This year, Disney delivered a lot of information as soon as the event started. The studio gave us looks at animated properties, like Incredibles 2 and Wreck-It Ralph first. Then, Saturday brought the big live-action panel. Ava DuVernary’s A Wrinkle in Time trailer debuted, we got an update on Aladdin, and of course, Alan Horn and Rian Johnson took the stage to talk about Star Wars.

Specifically, The Last Jedi.

With most of the cast in attendance, including Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Gwendoline Christie (who must also be filled with Game of Thrones excitement), and Kelly Marie Tran, Johnson shared a bit of what we can expect from the new film. Obviously, we’re all excited for the follow-up to Star Wars The Force Awakens. Plus, the first trailer left us one serious cliffhanger.
