We have pictures from a Wrinkle in Time and we’re excited!

For many of us, a Wrinkle in Time has been a favorite for years and now we’re getting a new movie! And Ava DuVernay did not disappoint!

A Wrinkle in Time has been teaching little girls they can do anything they put their mind to for years. Meg, the star of the novel, ends up in a whole new universe with her brother Charles Wallace to try and find their father.

The cast is stacked with one of the most diverse casts we’ve seen in quite some time. But that’s not surprising as it is from the mind of Ava DuVernay. The Queen Sugar creator is known for putting diversity first in her work and it works exceptionally well with her cast for A Wrinkle in Time.

Meg and her brother end up traveling through space with the help of Mrs. Whatsit (Reese Witherspoon), Mrs. Which (Oprah) and Mrs. Who (Mindy Kaling). They leave their mother, Dr. Kate Murray (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) behind to try and find their father, Dr. Alex Murray (Chris Pine).

It is a story of adventure and family and truly is an inspiration to us all. Especially when you see how brave Meg (Storm Reid) really is. She ends up saving herself, her brother Charles Wallace and Calvin (Levi Miller).

And then there’s me, I’m super excited because not only is my favorite actor the mysterious Dr. Alex Murray, but he also is rocking this great beard!
