12. Dirty Dancing (Colt Prattes and Abigail Breslin)

You know what never needed a remake and we should have just left alone? Dirty Dancing. There are some movies that we just don’t need to revisit. And this was definitely one of them. But alas, we had people try and remake it and the chemistry was so bad it was almost good.

Well, it’s like they say, sometimes you can’t take your eyes off a train wreck. And this was, in every sense of the phrase, a train wreck. The thing is the original Dirty Dancing had its fair share of problems. From the two stars fighting and causing drama on set, it made everything feisty and it’s everything we love..

This remake? Well, it just fell flat. And the internet made sure everyone knew how much they didn’t like it. But that doesn’t mean there wasn’t at least one steamy kiss! In fact the kiss was about the only good thing they had.

Everyone put Baby in the corner after this movie. And this kiss couldn’t even save it. Like honestly, why do we need to remake everything? Are there no more original ideas out there? I mean, I know I have a few. So let’s leave alone movies that we love. Even if they give us some steamy kisses.
