Wonder Woman and these ladies stand for power with #wwgotyourback

Everyone is talking about Wonder Woman and with the new hashtag #wwgotyourback, women every are showing their swordsmanship.

Wonder Woman is changing the way women see themselves and it is a beautiful thing to be a part of. The film shows us all just how powerful we can be and that it isn’t brute force that can win wars but rather love and compassion.

It isn’t a new message but it’s ringing true as ever now with our current situations happening as well as with this movie. But what is the most amazing thing to see is how everyone is reacting to Wonder Woman.

The latest in the world of “we love Diana Prince” is the #wwgotyourback trend (with a hat tip to CBR and a warning that you’re about to see some spoilers for context). Basically women everywhere are taking pictures like the iconic moment in the film. Diana is attending a German gala, despite Steve telling her she can’t waltz in there and kill Ludendorff.

Diana ignores him and goes anyway and she’s in a beautiful blue dress but there is a moment when you see her from behind, she is walking in and in the back of her dress you can see the hilt of the sword.

So all these lovely people are taking that image and recreating it in their own way.

From Kylo Ren to Thor, everyone has Wonder Woman’s back.

And some even took to their own original looks as well!

It is just a simple thing but that moment in the movie, for me at least, was so powerful and to see it recreated is a special thing. We can all be Diana, we can all help save the world. It doesn’t have to just be an Amazonian goddess.
