Chris Pine is the best Chris but we already knew that

From the dawning of Culturess, I have talked about why Chris Pine is the best Chris but now the rest of the world is getting onboard.

Chris Pine is suddenly everyone’s favorite Chris and we have a pretty powerful celebrity backing. From Ava DuVernay to Tyler Oakley, celebrities everywhere are praising Pine and his work in Wonder Woman and beyond.

But here’s the thing: most of them are new to the game. Recently, Jezebel shared an article about why Chris Pine should be the best Chris and I just felt like I had to comment on it. Why? Well, since the dawning of this website, I’ve done nothing but talk about how amazing Chris Pine is.

No really, don’t believe me? My very first article was about the song “I’ll Be Seeing You/I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face” that Chris sang with Babs. I’ve made my claim on the internet as the girl who will continually talk to you about how Chris Pine is the best Chris.

I even camped out for his Saturday Night Live and wrote about it! So now all these think pieces about Chris has me thinking. Clearly I wasn’t alone in my love of Pine. Ava Duvernay and Patty Jenkins both decided that of all the white men named Chris, Pine was going to be the best choice for their films.

What we’re excited about

Now while Steve Trevor was everything I could have wanted and more, I’m also excited about his turn as Dr. Alex Murray in A Wrinkle in Time. The film based on the Madeline L’Engle novel of the same name is long overdue. And just continues Chris’s trend of playing second fiddle to an amazing female in the lead! (This time, the character Meg played by Storm Reid is in charge.)

Next: Seeing Wonder Woman in a female-only screening is an experience

So whether you were always a fan or you’re new to the game, being a fan of Chris Pine is a wonderful adventure and buckle in. It’s going to be a fun ride!
