Robin Wright to reprise her role as Antiope in Justice League
Antiope took to the screen and many of us watched as Robin Wright went from a princess to a general. But we might have more of her still in Justice League.
Robin Wright took over as the ever powerful Antiope and now it seems like she’ll be making a comeback. Reports are coming in that Wright will reprise her role for the new film Justice League coming out this November.
Now, there are spoilers ahead so unless you want to be spoiled for Wonder Woman, stop reading now.
In Wonder Woman, we see Antiope training Diana to become the warrior we know her to be. She is the sister to Hippolyta (Diana’s mother and queen of the Amazons). Hippolyta, at first, does not want Diana to train with Antiope so the two train in secret until Diana is a teenager.
When Hippolyta finds out about these training sessions, she tells Antiope to train Diana harder than any Amazon before her. With a few other moments (and obviously that final battle scene), that’s about all we get of Antiope.
But it was enough for fans to fall in love with Robin Wright’s portrayal of the character. So when she took a bullet for Diana, many of us mourned the short life of Antiope. Lucky for us all though, she is apparently going to be making an appearance in Justice League.
News is that we will get more of the Amazon backstory in the movie and learn even more about Diana. Does that mean other characters we fell in love with in Wonder Woman will return to our screens? Or is it just going to be the Amazons? Honestly, just give us a spin-off movie of Antiope and all the Amazons training for hours on end. We’d be into it!

But we’ll have to wait until November to find out but until then, you can still see Wonder Woman in theaters now!
