The Wonder Woman reviews are in and she beats out all the boys

Wonder Woman is coming in hot with her new reviews and guess what: so far she beat out every DC and Marvel hero before her.

That’s right folks, Wonder Woman is currently at a 97% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. And she deserves it. The movie is a perfect origin story to a character that many of us have waited our whole lives to see.

I know personally that I’ve been waiting for a Wonder Woman movie for as long as I can remember. I used to have a t-shirt that said “He loves me” and it was Diana thinking about Superman and Batman. So really, I was a harsh critic when it came to this movie.

But lucky for all of us, it truly is a perfect film. And most reviewers agree! Currently on Rotten Tomatoes, she is fluctuating between a 96% and a 97%. At this point, she beats out The Avengers (which has a 92%), Iron Man (which has a 94%) and Guardians of the Galaxy (which stands at a 91%).

If she continues to hold up with a 97%, she is tied with The Incredibles. So, in case you couldn’t figure it out, that means that currently our Amazon warrior is even beating The Dark Knight.

The best part about it all? The only two rotten reviews the film as received thus far have been from two men. No really, everyone else has only had positive things to say about the film so it’s just interesting that the only two who had negative things to say (and their reviews missed the entire point of the film) were men. After everything that has been happening, it’s just an interesting fact.

Hopefully the reviews continue to be positive for Wonder Woman because it truly is a fantastic film. It hits theaters this Friday (June 2) so get your tickets! You won’t want to miss it.
