Twin Peaks – Showtime Anytime
Twin Peaks is getting a reboot later this month, but you still have time to catch up before the Showtime premiere. With only two seasons to get through, you’ll have no problem plowing through all the episodes.
Twin Peaks is hard to describe. It’s David Lynch in his finest form, and it was the most exciting thing to hit television in its time. It kicks off with the death of high school student, Laura Palmer. Special Agent Dale Cooper arrives in the Pacific Northwestern town to investigate, and he quickly learns that the town has a lot of secrets and mysteries that have very little to do with murder.
This show was nothing like anybody had ever seen on network TV, and minds exploded all over America when it aired. Everything from its style, to its characters, to its quirky storylines made it unique in ways you can’t imagine. The elements of the surreal make it hard to keep your footing. Don’t think you’re going to be able to watch this show while you scroll through your phone or fold laundry. It’s definitely going to need your full attention.
