40 binge-worthy TV shows: Watch them all right now because who needs sleep

Difficult People – Hulu
If you don’t have anything nice to say, turn on Difficult People and let them show you how awful people can be. If you like your buddy show to be chocked full of inappropriate humor at celebrities’ expenses and heavily laden with pop culture references, this is the show for you.
Julie and Billy are two 30-somethings aspiring to be famous, although neither can decide what they really want to be famous for. They try (and mostly fail) at all sorts of show business endeavors, and never really come around to the conclusion that maybe it’s them, not everyone else. They go on constant auditions, have a heavy social media presence, and aren’t above selling their soul for their 15 minutes.
Sometimes, desperation can be hilarious. Especially when they have no idea how thirsty they come off. The show will make you laugh with them, and they’re not above you laughing at them either. It’s really quite refreshing. They really are soulless, vapid people, but they don’t pretend to be anything else. They’re terribly unlikeable, but that’s kind of what you respect about them most. They are so hungry for fame, you have to admire their drive to get what they want — particularly when we can laugh at them the whole way through.
