Hank Voight – Chicago P.D.

I don’t just have lust in my heart for Hank Voight, I have a sincere regard for his qualifications as a friend. He’s a tough cookie, no doubt. Hank’s not really the time to offer you a tissue while you sob into your Pinot Noir. However, he’s not going to sit idly by and let things go unpunished.

I need this man in my friend circle because he’s a problem solver. If I’m ever paralyzed by indecision or fear or consequence, I know I can always count on Hank to jump in and handle a situation. We’ll never agonize about what restaurant to visit, what theme is best for a birthday party, or how much we should spend on our joint wedding gift. He’s always going to know the answer.

It’s also incredibly convenient to have a law enforcement officer in your squad. He can fix a ticket, secure you a police escort, and introduce you to a lot of eligible officers. Hank would be a really good wingman, sniffing out the losers and sending them on their way before things get awkward. You would never have to plan an exit strategy with Hank hanging around. One look from you, and he’ll make the creeps scram.
