These Pokémon Mini Backpacks and Wallets are Perfect for Easter and Spring

Need the perfect Easter surprise for the Pokémon lover in your life? These adorable mini backpacks are a breath of spring air.

I’m a sucker for a good Pokémon accessory. I’m the loser with the Poké Ball patterned wallet and Pikachu lanyard for my keys and Pokemon pins on my bag and piles of Pokémon stuffed animals in my office.

I’ve never really found most of the purses or backpacks attractive, though, because most of the ones I’ve seen feature weird collaborations of starter Pokémon or are just one giant Squirtle. But these, these Pokémon mini backpacks are the cutest thing I’ve seen in weeks, and are absolutely perfect for springtime:

These are from Loungefly, and come in both Pikachu and Eevee varieties for $44.90, which is rather pricey for a lil’ backpack but par for the course if you like Loungefly. They also sell matching wallets for $19.90. They appear to be very well-made and sturdy (at least for casual use) though I’m pretty hard on bags and would be worried that the light colors would dirty up fairly quickly.

I just love the cute poses of both Pikachu and Eevee, and the gorgeous flower patterns. This isn’t Loungefly’s first foray into the Pokémon universe: they have socks, pants, plushes, sweatshirts, and more if you need gobs of merchandise and prefer to stay away from the Pokémon Center official site. These might be my favorite offering from Loungefly so far, though!

I imagine that with the spring feeling, these backpacks are a limited-time item, so grab them while you can. It’s a starkly elegant offering in comparison to the Pokémon Center’s Easter offerings, which involve Pokémon awkwardly shaped like eggs. No thanks. I want to toss a handful of flower petals into the air and swoosh off with my Pikachu backpack.
