6. Lin-Manuel Miranda and Beca Mitchell (Pitch Perfect)

If Lin-Manuel Miranda didn’t go the boy band route with Goofs II Men, the next best thing would be teaming up with the Barden Bellas – we already know he can rock the neck scarf. But, more specifically, Miranda should work with the leader of the Bellas: Beca Mitchell. Together, they’d have their pick of taking over the ICCAs, Broadway or Hollywood.

Beca’s strongest skill is her ability to make killer mashups. The secret lies in finding similar beats, she explains. Well, Lin-Manuel knows a thing or two about unique beats. His writing style is defined by the precision and originality of making words flow to unexpected rhythms. This duo could find a way to blend Hamilton with DNCE somehow, and create an acapella mashup for the ages.

That said, as seen in Pitch Perfect 2, Beca needs to be able to do more than create mashups. She struggles with feeling like she has nothing to say. On the other hand, Lin-Manuel seems to be always writing and creating. Once he helped Beca unleash her creative thoughts, the pair would be unstoppable, and wonderfully sarcastic.

Worth noting, Lin-Manuel has already crossed paths with a Barden Treblemaker. He and Utkarsh Ambudkar, who played Donald in the first Pitch Perfect, performed together in Freestyle Love Supreme, an improv hip-hop troupe.
