In the world of animation, the true King of Pop is Powerline, the mega-superstar from Disney’s A Goofy Movie. With hits like “I2I” and “Stand Out,” Powerline’s 1995 tour was a sold out, televised event. With the movie celebrating its 22nd anniversary this year, it’s high time for a Powerline comeback. But this year, let’s add Jordan Fisher to the mix.

Jordan Fisher is no stranger to Disney music. After starring in Disney Channel’s Teen Beach Movie and Teen Beach 2, the 22-year-old has gone on to star in “Hamilton” on Broadway. He also sang his own version of “You’re Welcome” in Disney’s Moana, cementing his bromance with Lin-Manuel Miranda. Realistically, if Lin-Manuel wasn’t so busy, this trio could be the new Destiny’s Child – or Goofs II Men. But more on Lin later in this slideshow.

Powerline brings a lot of soul to his music and, like Michael Jackson, strives in his upper register. Where he has the belting note, Jordan Fisher matches with his falsetto. Luckily, there’s no dance barrier between the two, as Fisher proved in his “All About Us” video. With Powerline lacking ballads (as far as we’ve seen), the duo could write the perfect song to rip hearts from chests.

So yeah, we’re all in for a “PowerFish” 2017 World Tour.
