Dear Monty,

GUYS. THE LETTER. CAN I MAKE MY WORDS BIGGER THAN JUST USING CAPS?

OH, HERE! THE LETTER!!!!

You know, the letter that Jasper left for Monty in the first episode when he was planning to kill himself. And right next to the goggles — be still my heart. That letter is still out there floating around somewhere on the ark. And if we know anything about this show, it’s that they don’t just give us a few second close-up of an item or a person or a situation that turns out to be unimportant. They basically zoomed into the letter and existentially screamed, “REMEMBER THIS. THIS LETTER. FROM JASPER. TO MONTY. OKAY?”

Okay, okay, we hear you!

So, back to the letter … I have questions:

  • Is it going to be an apology?
  • Will it blame Monty for Maya’s death?
  • Is it going to be sad?
  • Is it going to anger Monty? Make him sad? Make them be besties again?
  • Is it is going to give us any deeper look at Jasper’s psychological state?
  • And better yet, what is this going to do for the plot?

want

NEED Monty and Jasper to be friends again. They were my dream team, my squad, my brOTP. I hope Monty finds this letter and it brings him and Jasper closer together. Maybe even back to how they used to be. Please?
