But really the best thing about Ben, and the reason we love him so, his how romantic he is. His love for Leslie Knope was some of the most unselfish love we’ve ever seen on television. The two sacrificed so much to be together and it was just all because they loved each other whole-heartedly.

From their first meeting to their children to Ben letting Leslie run for Governor of Indiana to whoever ended up being President, the two did everything for each other and it is really a great example of what love can be like.

They just wanted what was best for their partner. It was never selfish and they never intentionally hurt one another. Their love was just a pure kind of adoration that manifested itself in one of the most passionate relationships on television. And it was just a wonderful thing to see week after week.

Ben Wyatt loves Leslie Knope and that is something we can always count on when it comes to watching Parks and Recreation over and over again.
