One thing they never seemed to try and tame was Ben’s hair. You could tell how he was feeling by how crazy his hair ended up getting. But even when he was normal Ben, his hair was still pretty big.

Taking a look at Adam Scott outside of the show, his hair seems to be pretty flat. So there was definitely effort to make Ben Wyatt’s hair what it ended up being on the show. But really, he wouldn’t have Ben if it wasn’t for that crazy hair and its ability to stand up straight on top of his head.

It’s weird because it’s not like there was a big deal with hair cuts and styles on Parks and Recreation. Yes there were comments about Leslie’s blonde hair and Donna’s hair continually got cooler and cooler throughout the seasons.

But it was Ben’s hair that really seemed to express exactly how Ben Wyatt was feeling. You could tell exactly how stressed out he was by how manic his hair seemed to be. So yes, one of the reasons why Ben Wyatt is perfect is because of how insane his hair can be. And we know that his hair can get pretty insane.
