Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman are Set to Team Up Once Again
Parks and Recreation fans are rejoicing as Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman are set to team up once more for a new reality television show.
When it comes to fans of Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman, I can safely say that we miss them on our television sets. Parks and Recreation ended in February of 2015 and we’re still feeling the loss. It was a beautiful show that made us so happy and the world has been a little weird without them on television every week.
But now, it seems, the gods have heard our prayers and they’re fixing that wrong! Poehler and Offerman are back! Unfortunately not as Leslie and Ron but rather as themselves. The two are set to host a new reality show called The Handmade Project.
According to Deadline, the two will take on hosting this NBC show that is already ordered straight to series!
"Each week eight all-around makers, from all walks of life, will take on a series of projects with the hopes of impressing Poehler, Offerman and our expert judges. Over the course of each episode, the contestants must tackle a different theme, hand-making items in different disciplines — the difficulty of which increases with every episode until a winner is crown. Shot in an outdoor setting, the series will also focus on the characters and camaraderie of those who enjoy creating their own crafts, all under the comedic guidance of Poehler and Offerman."
