17. Adam Scott

Okay, I’ll come out and say it, I love Adam Scott and while that might make me strange, let me justify this for you. Adam is one of those actors who is famous for particular roles but not necessarily himself.

People know him as Derek from Step Brothers or Henry from Party Down or, most famously, Ben Wyatt from Parks and Recreation. But Adam Scott is exceptionally charming! Otherwise, those characters wouldn’t be as famous as they are.

The man behind the character says a lot about the character itself. And with Adam, even the douchebag characters have a bit of a sense of charm to them that they should lack. But that’s just because it is Adam Scott.

Having met the man, I can confirm that he is truly a dorky man who is a famous actor. And that’s really part of his charm. Otherwise who would willingly listen to a podcast dedicated to U2? (For those who don’t know, Adam runs a podcast about U2 with Scott Aukerman.)

But no matter what, Adam Scott is a very charming man and we’re lucky to have him constantly on our television sets. Maybe in a Ben Wyatt spin-off if we wish hard enough.
