Katie McGrath & Karla Souza

Would the universe combust if Katie McGrath and Karla Souza were ever romantically involved together on screen? Yes. Absolutely. So let’s do it. I feel like both of them, as actresses, can have such a “girl next door” look to them yet when they’re asked to give a frighteningly strong performance, they completely nail it. I want something with both of that.

Picture This: How about a series where they’re both in some sort of political power. They’re happily married. They’re important, wealthy. They never wanted kids because they’ve always put their careers first. But by the end of the first episode, they get custody of their 10-year old niece whose parents were just killed. We find out that the 10-year old is hiding something from them that someone working against the American government wants. Throughout the first season, it becomes their goal to figure out what it is. But through this, they realize that maybe they do want this family they’ve been trying to avoid. Then, at the end of the season finale, just as they’re putting pieces of the puzzle together, the girl gets kidnapped. End scene.
