Ruby Rose & Shay Mitchell
Let me apologize in advance for giving you any hope that the combo of Ruby Rose and Shay Mitchell would ever be romantically involved on screen together. Really, I’m so so sorry, but isn’t it a nice thing to picture? For some reason, I need them to be in a movie together, not a TV show, so here it is…
Picture This: I want to hate these characters at first. I want them to be bad people who the audience despises. They steal from their friends. They’ve been in and out of jail. They live like gypsies, never staying in one spot for too long so they never get caught. They work for bad people. But then, something changes. Shay Mitchell’s character gets a phone call one day that turns her world upside down. Her father, who she hasn’t spoken to since he left her mother, is on his deathbed, and he wants to see her to finally apologize. She goes to hear what he has to say and in the process of it all, questions how her life got to where it is now. Talk about a redemption arc.
