Shay Mitchell’s character gets a phone call one day that turns her world upside down. Her father, who she hasn’t spoken to since he left her mother, is on his deathbed, and he wants to see her to finally apologize. She goes to hear what he has to say and in the process of it all, questions how her life got to where it is now. Talk about a redemption arc.
