So before The Flash became a television show and Grant Gustin took over playing Barry Allen, we knew of the Flash and we knew of his powers and what not, but we didn’t love him as much as we do now. Now, he’s one of our top picks for our superhero boyfriends for how much he loves Iris.

Look, the thing about the cinematic or television superheroes is that the actors play a huge part in how we feel about them. With Barry, he’s a lot like Peter Parker. He’s nerdy and awkward but there is something charming about him that captures us and makes us fall in love with him.

Plus like if Barry just picked us up, he can run super fast to wherever we want to go and we never have to wait around for public transportation anymore. And that’s really a check in the right direction for him. But also, Barry is just a great guy all around and he works hard and tries to make Iris feel as special as can be and it makes him a fantastic boyfriend and one we all want for ourselves.
